The Harris Education Group is a family run business in Richmond, VA where Johnathan Harris serves as the Senior Education Consultant. He has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Special Education; along with a Post Graduate Professional Teaching License in Education. Johnathan is experienced in educational testing, teaching, special education advocacy, curriculum development, education placement and organizational leadership. He has special interests working with families of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Executive Dysfunction and Language Based Disorders. Throughout his tenure, Johnathan has worked in the public and private sector as a teacher, education specialist and principal. He serves on local and state committees related to education. Johnathan has spent his entire professional career training individuals to be active role models and advocates for children. His ability to actively listen to families concerning their child's education, assess their needs and develop a plan of action, is a true testament of his commitment. In efforts to further contribute to the education community, Johnathan is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in K-12 Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
